Beloved Community,
We began offering the "I am Grateful" Bowl in January of 2009, in response to widespread economic challenges in our community. Every day, we serve this pay-by-donation bowl of fresh, certified organic, whole food to over 200 customers in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are proud to be a resource for love, generosity, compassion and self-care for this community. We thank you for choosing to support Cafe Gratitude, and contributing to the creation of a world of plenty for all!
The "I am Grateful" Bowl Program is 100%
community funded. Your money supports all of the hands that work to bring this food to you 7 days a week.
The "I am Grateful" bowl is a menu item that Cafe Gratitude is not seeking to profit from. We are, however, committed to meeting our expenses in order to care for the vendors, farmers and employees we support. Based on our cost to produce the bowl, our
recommended donation for those receiving the bowl is $7.
In order to fund the Grateful Bowl for those who are under financial strain, we have chosen to offer the opportunity to support the program to the greater Cafe Gratitude community.
